The B4uDie Squad is heading out to Fairbanks to make the funny happen. This show is an exciting mix of very talented Alaskan comedians with Rachel Blackwell and Chelsea Keyes and the ridiculously funny and effortlessly charming B4uDie Fest Alumni Derek Sheen and Chad Opitz.
Derek Sheen is a cuddly mess of insecurities and a gifted, one-of-a-kind storyteller. His ability to mine humor from the dark, humid corners of the human condition has made him a cult favorite of comedy nerds around the globe. Despite a lack of television or film credits, he has amassed a pretty loyal fan base touring with comedy legends (name-drop alert!) Brian Posehn, Patton Oswalt and Janeane Garofalo. Derek Sheen has released four critically acclaimed albums on Minneapolis based Stand Up! Records, with Grammy Winning producer Dan Schlissel.
Chad Opitz is a comic with a varied style of stand up featuring one-liners, short story jokes, act-outs, and sometimes even song. He's opened for Michelle Wolf, Melissa Villaseñor, Tom Green and Bobcat Goldthwait and performed for San Francisco Sketchfest.
